About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a Financial Capability Worker to join LC’s Financial Capability and Wellbeing team in Alice Springs, NT.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will primary be responsible for helping people to make informed choices about their financial position, building long-term capabilities to budget and manage their money and providing emergency relief to clients in need.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally hold a Cert III or higher in Community Services. 

The successful candidate will also have solid financial knowledge, an understanding of physical and electronic record keeping as well as the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse client base.

In return for your hard work and dedication, LC is offering an attractive hourly rate of $31.57 plus super and generous salary packaging to increase your take-home pay.

Relocation assistance is available, up to $2,000 for eligible candidates, as well as 5 weeks annual leave.

Current programs include emergency relief, financial counselling, family support and education, foster care, housing and multicultural services.
