Smart Health Australia is a family owned and award-winning tele-fundraising organisation with a clear goal to cultivate, grow and enhance donor relations and revenue potential for their charity partners. What began as a small single office enterprise over 20 years ago, now employs over 80 staff members in Melbourne.
Over the years, Smart Health Australia has built many long-lasting collaborative relationships with some of Australia’s most high-profile not-for-profit organisations, achieving striking success in the acquisition of donors, retention and upgrading of existing donors and the development of leading regular giving campaigns.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for organising and coordinating the daily office operations and procedures to ensure Smart Health Australia always runs effectively and efficiently. Being positive, helpful, and professional will be important as you will often be the first point of contact for charity partners and donors.
This important position requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to quickly develop rapport, assist and respond to all enquiries from clients and donors, and provide support across various departments within Smart Health Australia. You will be an administrative all-rounder; from answering incoming phone calls, to welcoming guests, to providing exceptional customer service, to coordinating travel arrangements and managing diaries, to assisting with accounts payable processing, to organising annual team events, this diverse and busy role requires someone with initiative and a positive, can-do attitude.
Proven success in an office coordination, reception or administrative support role is essential, along with exceptional communication skills to confidently represent Smart Health Australia, knowledge of MS office and excellent excel skills, accurate typing and data entry skills. The ability to solve problems and multi-task will be important, as will the ability to be proactive and work autonomously. You will be a team player who is eager to learn, and Smart Health Australia will train and develop you, providing you with great opportunities to grow with the organisation and develop your career. Knowledge of fundraising and the charity sector is highly regarded.
