This role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and talented Digital Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role you will:
• Manage and monitor our social media channels across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, on a daily basis
• Manage and coordinate content for our social media calendar
• Produce written and visual digital content, namely social media posts, tiles, email banners and video, for our website, eDMs and social media channels
• Support the organisation with website updates
• Keep up-to-date with social media and digital trends
• Schedule, implement and roll out digital campaigns, under the guidance of the Senior Digital Marketing Manager
• Support the fund development team by raising community awareness of the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute and our fundraising
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing communications
• Attend fundraising and networking events

We would like to meet you if you have:
• A degree in communications or marketing with a solid understanding and interest in digital media and online communications
• Experience implementing digital strategies using social media platforms and management tools such as Hootsuite and Facebook Creator Studio
• Experience creating digital artwork such as social media tiles, web banners, flyers and videos
• A passion for writing and a talent for creating content people want to engage with – be that scientists, people with heart disease, or the wider general public
• Impeccable attention to detail with a creative flair
• Detailed oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Willingness and ability to quickly learn from a variety of digital platforms
• Experience with Canva and Premier Pro is also an advantage
