About the role

The Position

Reporting to the General Manager, and leading an experienced team, the Program Manager, Social Support & NDIS Support is accountable for the leadership and operational oversight of significant social support and NDIS  programs.  You will contribute to the organisation’s strategic goals and direction and ensure the strategic and operational quality and change management activities are integrated and aligned with the values and goals of DPV Health.

The emphasis of this role will be on the strategic delivery of a streamlined, efficient and compliant Social Support program across Hume, Whittlesea and West LGAs, and overseeing the further growth and development of the DPV Health NDIS Engagement (Intake) business function and Support Coordination operations.  

The Person

To be considered for this wonderful opportunity it is essential you have:

  • Qualifications in Leadership, Disability, Health, Human Services or similar
  • Demonstrated experience in a management role, specifically in community services in a community health or NDIS environment
  • Sensitivity to issues related to the provision of services in a community of high cultural diversity
  • Strong understanding of Community Health, NDIS and DET frameworks, compliance and funding obligations
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of the funding changes impacting the sector

The Offer

Initially a fixed term contract until the end of the year, there is a high likelihood that the role could be transitioned to a permanent position. An attractive executive remuneration package, with the availability of NFP salary packaging, will be offered to the successful candidate, commensurate with skills and experience.
