About the organisation
EveryMan provides supported accommodation and outreach to men at risk from homelessness because they have complex needs related to mental health, intellectual disability, drug and alcohol use and other issues.
Our Violence Prevention and Counselling Services provide support to men who use violence with partners and family, or who are victims of violence, men who are ex-prisoners, and men who present with other life challenges, like social isolation, depression, anxiety, and family and relationship breakdown. No matter their background, we provide support.
EveryMan's Indigenous Support and Accommodation program supports First Nations people in the ACT and region – individuals and families who are at risk of homelessness, or need transitional accommodation and support while they access education, health, legal or other services in the ACT, and men or women involved in the justice or child protection systems.
About the role
EveryMan is seeking expressions of interest from people interested in working in our Supported Accommodation and Outreach Programs.
EveryMan is entering an exciting period of growth and expansion!
We have opportunities for Support Workers at Level 3. If you commence as a Support
Worker, there may be opportunities to progress to a Case Worker role, subject to work availability, performance and willingness to undertake further study, if required.
We support flexible working arrangements! Roles can be full-time or part-time.
Level 3 salary range (full-time equivalent):
From $63,093 to $67,124 salary only
From $83,187 to $87,600 total remuneration package *
* Total remuneration package includes 9.5% superannuation, plus $14,100 (approximate value of salary sacrificing, as a not-for-profit organisation).
What will you be doing?
Working in accommodation-related support and outreach services with men, their partners and families in our Men’s Accommodation & Support Services, and with individuals and families in our Indigenous Services & Accommodation programs.

- Experience in direct support work with clients with complex needs
- Relevant experience working within a case management framework
- Demonstrated service delivery and teamwork skills
- Capacity to work sensitively and impartially with people experiencing considerable challenges and stress
- People from diverse backgrounds
