Social Ventures Australia (SVA) is a social purpose organisation that works with partners to improve the lives of people in need in Australia by helping businesses, governments and philanthropists to be more effective funders and social purpose organisations to be more effective at delivering services.

SVA’s Ventures in particular support high impact social ventures that improve the lives of people in need in Australia. We help convene sector stakeholders, incubate innovative service delivery approaches and advocate for change.

The position
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Systems Lead, Early Childhood Development (ECD) to facilitate a collective of leading national child and family organisations to build a sector-wide approach to effectively redress the root causes and systemic forces creating and sustaining disadvantage in the early years.

Who you are
We are seeking a visionary and adaptive leader with deep knowledge of and passion for early childhood development, who has an informed understanding of the drivers to achieve system change, and experience in consolidating strong partnerships for effective collaboration across the ECD sector and with relevant decision-makers for optimised impact.

With outstanding relationships management, capacity development and project management skills, you will be known for your experience in facilitating significant and collaborative systems change processes within a multi-stakeholder environment. Your ability to build and enhance a range of sustainable relationships with stakeholders and achieve collective impact in diverse cultural settings will be key to your success.

This unique position provides exposure to challenging and rewarding opportunities across the social sector, working on society’s most important challenges. The focus of this role will see you leading, facilitating, managing and testing the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Field Catalyst work, whilst forging close relationships with a breadth of highly engaged stakeholders who have unwavering commitment to better outcomes for people in need in Australia.
