Founded in the mid-1880’s, UnitingCare Wesley Bowden (UCWB) delivers innovative and tailored services that support individual wellbeing with a focus on those people that are most vulnerable within the community.
Reporting to the Board of UCWB, the Chief Executive will provide strategic leadership and guidance and develop strong and trusting relationships throughout the organisation. You will have a proven track record in organisational leadership with high level business acumen and experience in delivering organisational strategy.
Your dynamic and proven leadership style will inspire a sense of purpose and direction, build organisational capacity and responsiveness and deliver on intended results. Responsibilities include:
- Strategy formulation and implementation, ensuring the organisation’s structure, systems and culture align
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the organisation, its people and resources
- Management of all aspects of the business, governance, strategic direction and financial management
- Instil a customer focused, commercially balanced approach to service delivery
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders
- Model UCWB’s values of respect, trust, integrity and courage

Financial acumen and proven communication skills are fundamental to the role.
