About the organisation
The New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) was established under the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983 (NSW) (ALRA). NSWALC is a self-funding statutory authority responsible for protecting and promoting the rights and interests of Aboriginal peoples in NSW.

The NSWALC have exciting and rewarding job opportunities and are seeking motivated and suitably experienced and qualified people to join us to deliver services on this significant initiative. We are recruiting for following role:
Community & Economic Development Officer X 2
Commencing Salary is $95,059 per annum plus super and benefits
The Community and Economic Development Officer performs project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of programs and projects in line with established objectives. The position holder will work closely with LALCs to facilitate engagement in community development, early stage business enterprise development and supporting capacity building towards this aim, including planning, financial, business and entrepreneurship skills in LALCs. The role will also allow for direct communication with LALCs on strategic NSWALC initiatives.
