The SVA Consulting team is Australia’s leading for-purpose consultancy, working exclusively on projects that strengthen the social sector and have a positive impact on people and communities.

Over the past 14 years, SVA’s Consulting team have become trusted partners to hundreds of organisations by providing innovative and effective solutions tailored to our clients’ unique needs and situation, enabling them to better achieve their purpose. Our clients include charities, service delivery organisations, Government, philanthropic foundations, social enterprise and corporates. We work across a broad and ever-expanding range of issue areas, with deep expertise in Children and Families, Disability, Education, Employment, Family Violence, Financial Wellbeing, First Australians, Health, Housing, Mental Health, Older Australians and Regional Development. The position
The SVA Consulting team is looking for 2 Consultants. Managed and supported by senior members of the team, Consultants work on client projects as part of a broader project team. While no two client projects are the same, Consultants are typically responsible for leading and/or contributing to problem-solving, analysis, project and client management work. This may require developing and managing a workplan to ensure the highest quality, data-driven analysis, and client interactions. A typical project lasts between three to six months and you will typically work on multiple projects at a time.
 
 
Who you are
If you are driven by excellence, self-motivated and have the ability to ensure key tasks and requirements are taken through to completion, then you should consider applying! With some recent experience (minimum 4 years) working in a problem-solving role, either in a strategy consulting firm or related context (i.e. law, finance, business, government), you will have an understanding of, and passion for, working on society’s most important challenges. Previous experience in research, data modelling and analysis, building presentations and report writing will see you be successful in the role. You will have strong interpersonal skills and work well in a team environment.
 
The Consultant position provide exposure to challenging and rewarding opportunities across the social sector working on society’s most important challenges. You will forge close relationships with inspiring clients, sector leaders, colleagues and stakeholders, which provides a great foundation for professional growth and development.
