About the role
CCI seeks a self-motivated and target-oriented professional with a track record in securing high level partnerships, significant philanthropic gifts or sales results gained in a health, not for profit or commercial setting. Your persuasive interpersonal and communication skills will be matched by a high level of attention to detail and ability to manage a number of priorities in a complex, fast-paced and changing environment. You work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders both internally and externally, while always having an eye on the Institute’s strategic goals and aspirations.
About the organisation
Children’s Cancer Institute has seen significant progress and success in striving to achieve its mission of Zero Childhood Cancer. With its established track record in world-leading medical research into new, improved treatments for childhood cancer, it is now at a pivotal point of growth as it looks to open Australia’s first Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre as part of the Randwick Health and Innovation Precinct.
The Centre provides a significant platform for increasing philanthropic funding to the Institute and as a result, Children’s Cancer Institute now seeks a Fundraising Project Manager who will manage the delivery of the campaign to drive fundraising for the Cancer Centre. This will involve collaborating with the Chief Marketing & Fundraising Officer on the campaign strategy and taking responsibility for all facets of the campaign, with a goal of $25m by 2025.
