Children’s Cancer Institute has seen significant progress and success in striving to achieve its mission of Zero Childhood Cancer. With its established track record in world-leading medical research into new, improved treatments for childhood cancer, it is now at a pivotal point of growth as it looks to open Australia’s first Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre as part of the Randwick Health and Innovation Precinct.
The Centre provides a significant platform for increasing philanthropic funding to the Institute and as a result, Children’s Cancer Institute now seeks a Fundraising Project Manager who will manage the delivery of the campaign to drive fundraising for the Cancer Centre. This will involve collaborating with the Chief Marketing & Fundraising Officer on the campaign strategy and taking responsibility for all facets of the campaign, with a goal of $25m by 2025.
About the role
CCI seeks a self-motivated and target-oriented professional with a track record in securing high level partnerships, significant philanthropic gifts or sales results gained in a health, not for profit or commercial setting. Your persuasive interpersonal and communication skills will be matched by a high level of attention to detail and ability to manage a number of priorities in a complex, fast-paced and changing environment. You work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders both internally and externally, while always having an eye on the Institute’s strategic goals and aspirations.
