Your new role
The Paediatric Allied health Clinician position sits within the Kinder Partnerships program, a fee for service program, providing paediatric allied health capacity building programs to early childhood education and care services in the local area.
Kinder Partnerships is a new program supporting kindergarten educators and the families in their centres to build their capacity to support young children’s learning in the areas of well-being and communication.
The role will be supported through collaboration with a broader paediatric allied health team, including Speech Pathologists, Psychologist and Audiologist.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful with Merri you will go above and beyond to achieve great results for our clients, the organisation and yourself. We’re looking for individuals with:
– Experience working in paediatric allied health, with experience working in a kindergarten setting an advantage.
– Experience working in a capability building and coaching role with educators and families to promote skills and knowledge in child development.
– Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based programs that meet the goals and desired outcomes for children, families and educators.
– Highly developed communication, networking and interpersonal skills to liaise with a range of people in the education and community health sector.
