Reporting to the Manager, Consumer & Carer Programs you will be responsible for providing a high standard of project and administration support to deliver a number of projects as part of Mental Health
Australia’s contractual responsibilities to the NMHCCF. The position is responsible for assisting with the design, implementation and delivery of projects in accordance with the NMHCCF Workplan.
To be considered for this role you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (eg. administration and/or project management) and demonstrated experience in project delivery.
Importantly, you will have strong organisational and interpersonal skills to handle a diverse workload and be able to work collaboratively with consumers, carers, community groups and government to achieve mental health reform.
You’ll possess sound secretariat experience in preparing meeting documentation (agendas, minute taking and writing, and preparation of meeting action lists) and organising travel and venue requirements. Alongside this you will possess highly developed communication skills and proven ability to exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality and guide others in order to achieve desired outcomes. Equally, you’ll be able to prioritise your workload to manage your time effectively and achieve outcomes within agreed timeframes. Proven administration skills, including the use of Microsoft Office products, are essential.
