About the role

We’re looking for a professional Training Manager (NDIS Division) with relevant experience who wants to join our 2,000+ team of staff and volunteers to make a difference on a Permanent Full-Time basis, working 38 hours per week based in Coburg.

THE ROLE

This position coordinates and supervises the Workplace Trainers and includes developing and overseeing the delivery of training solutions that address the requirements of the NDIS workforce. The intent is the role is 50% delivering training and 50% oversight of team and management. This position currently reports to the NDIS Workforce Advisor.

  • Lead the training team to plan, develop, deliver, monitor and evaluate training programs, including ensuring that there are effective feedback systems on training delivery
  • Provide coaching and support to all direct reports in the performance of their duties, monitoring and providing appropriate feedback in accordance with Brotherhood policies and procedures
  • Oversee, plan and administer training sessions to ensures activities are carried out effectively and in accordance with NDIA, Australian Quality Training Framework(AQTF), qualification, Brotherhood and government guidelines as required
  • Maintain current knowledge of NDIA, national training agendas, training package changes and currency of qualifications
  • Responsible to conduct a Training Needs Analysis for the NDIS division.

 

Salary will be $85,264.31 per annum, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we’re looking for an who has the following key skills and experiences:

  • Have experience in staff management and coaching
  • Have training experience/expertise with adults (Cert Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or higher is preferable)
  • Have NDIS and Disability content knowledge and experience
  • Are comfortable with Microsoft office products, including Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Have experience and/or knowledge (or interest and ability to learn) for developing and delivering accessible content meeting Web Content Accessible Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1
  • Customer service focused
