About the Role
Provide administrative support across the whole business, in this varied role encompassing office management, financial administration, database management, reporting and customer service functions. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will work collaboratively with a high performing, fun, and passionate team of professionals in a role that will provide excellent opportunity over time as the organisation grows. This will initially be a two year contract, with potential to extend.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Key point of contact for members, providing access to information and answering enquiries
  • Accounts payable and receivable duties
  • Day to day bookkeeping functions, supported by an external accountant
  • Preparation of reports relating to membership, support group participation and fundraising initiatives
  • Database administration and management, looking for operational efficiencies and improved reporting functionality
  • Manage relationships with external service providers
  • Other administrative duties and ad hoc projects as required

Experience and personal attributes required

  • Demonstrated experiencing working in a small, robust team environment would be favourable
  • Experience working with MYOB (or similar) along with CRM database/s
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, as you will be a key point of contact for members, donors and external service providers
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure
  • Positive and adaptable attitude, and a willingness to work across other tasks or help others within the team as required
