The organisation employs approximately 200 people and has a budget of nearly $20 million.  Rumbalara Aboriginal Cooperative’s Women & Children’s Crisis Accommodation Centre is based on a core and cluster model which is a set of individual residential units together with an office space and communal activities area. The Centre works within a strength-based person-centred practice that supports women and children escaping domestic and family violence to achieve their own goals.
