The Marketing department is part of the Marketing & Engagement (M&E) division and supports the organisation’s strategic objectives to increase its voice and profile in the community, as well as income. The Fundraising department is also part of the M&E division and were recently named ‘Fundraising Team of the Year’ at the FIA National Awards for Excellence in Fundraising.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Fundraising Campaign Manager will provide support to the Fundraising Team to produce the core program of renewal fundraising appeals and campaigns. Working predominantly across mail and email, the role is responsible for ensuring appeals and campaigns are fully integrated across all required channels and are compliant, of high quality and in line with the BSL ethos.

In this important and diverse role, you will develop integrated direct marketing fundraising campaigns to renew donors and grow income from existing supporters. The Fundraising Campaign Manager will implement innovative and engaging fundraising tactics to deepen donor engagement and increase lifetime value, manage the calendar of appeals and other fundraising communications and develop the production schedules. Additionally, you will monitor budgets and campaign results and generate relevant reports. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build influential relationships, advise and liaise across all levels both internally and externally.

You will be a self-motivated and collaborative team player with high levels of creativity and attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines. Demonstrated experience in creating and executing direct mail appeals is essential, along with strong copy writing skills relating to fundraising appeals and the ability to analyse data to drive campaign success and manage budgets. A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a fundraising campaign or direct marketing management role is required. FIA or ADMA Certificate or Diploma in Fundraising is highly regarded.
