About the role

We are looking for an experienced generalist counsellor to provide short to medium term trauma informed counselling sessions for women on a range of issues including anxiety, depression, domestic violence, sexual assault, relationships, stress, emotional health and others.

The role is based at the Wyoming Centre, but may also be required to work from the Wyong and Woy Woy centres at times. While the position focuses on counselling and group work it also includes intake and crisis support, advocacy, resourcing, case management, networking, community education and social action.

Our Counsellors are remunerated under the Social, Community Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) Level 5. Salary packaging is available to eligible successful applicants.
