About the role
If you’re an Occupational Therapist, qualified as a Grade 1 or 2, with experience in home visits and confident to engage with our clients in their homes, enjoy variety in your day, and working closely with other service delivery professionals, you might be exactly the person we’re looking for!
As part of our Short Term Restorative Care (STRC) team at Ferntree Gully, EACH is looking for motivated Occupational Therapist to provide services, encouraging independence and reablement. We are looking for a clinician that can work well within a multidisciplinary team and provide high quality evidence based assessment and intervention.
What you’ll be doing
This position delivers Occupational Therapy services within a multidisciplinary team to customers over the age of 65 living in the community with a focus on independence and reablement. This involves assessment, planning, case conferencing and implementation of interventions within an 8 week time frame.
Who you’ll be working with
The Short Term Restorative (STRC) team is a multidisplinary team comprised of a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapist, Allied Health Assistance, Dietician and Administration Assistant who work closely together to deliver excellent client outcomes.
