As Plan International Australia embarks on a significant transformational program, you will be a key player in this newly created structure, enabling change to deliver a next generation social impact organisation.

The Role
 
Melbourne-based and reporting to the Deputy CEO, Engagement, this role responsible for driving strategic, high-impact marketing and communications that deliver results for PIA’s fundraising, influencing, brand and impact. In this transformational role you will design marketing and supporter engagement strategies to enable PIA to deliver impact at scale.
 
Specifically you will

  • Drive strategic understanding of PIA’s target audiences and supporters
  • Work with the international team to lead implementation of the global brand strategy
  • Bring an end-to-end view of key communications products, channels and touchpoints
  • Strengthen digital capability and support critical income acquisition and retention

Leadership

Together with your colleagues across the organisation, you will ensure the adoption of safeguarding policies and feminist leadership principles, ensuring whole of organisational alignment with the mission and values of the organisation. Crucially you will lead by example through the development of networked, collaborative, organisational approaches to work.

Skills Required

You are a marketing leader with the proven ability to drive team performance and culture. Your track record includes driving organisational strategy to engage supporters and build brand awareness. Specifically you will display:

  • Best practice marketing leadership which has delivered organisational impact
  • A deep understanding of digital practice/digital transformation leadership experience
  • Ability to enhance customer experience in complex data-driven environments
  • Excellent communications skills to drive internal and external communications

Importantly, you must be able to lead a multi-disciplinary team and understand the importance of cultivating a positive culture whilst navigating change.
