Western Victoria Primary Health Network (WVPHN) has an important role in facilitating the delivery of best practice primary health care across western Victoria, which comprises 21 local government areas and a total population of approximately 618,000 people.  It is a not for profit membership-based organisation which works collaboratively with health services, health providers, community organisations and individuals. The organisation identifies priority health issues and develops region wide and localised programs that directly respond to health care needs. This includes delivering a best practice model of place-based commissioning and supporting local health care providers.

Western Victoria Primary Health Network (WVPHN) has an important role in facilitating the delivery of best practice primary health care across western Victoria, which comprises 21 local government areas and a total population of approximately 618,000 people.  It is a not for profit membership-based organisation which works collaboratively with health services, health providers, community organisations and individuals. The organisation identifies priority health issues and develops region wide and localised programs that directly respond to health care needs. This includes delivering a best practice model of place-based commissioning and supporting local health care providers.

 

The key function of this role will be to craft programs of targeted work that support local healthcare providers and drive service integration that enables seamless healthcare delivery. Reporting to the Executive Director Operations, you will be instrumental in the planning and delivery of programs such as strategic health workforce development and support, primary care projects, digital health strategy and implementation. A crucial leadership role, you will oversee four teams and lead them on an exciting change agenda focusing on continuous improvement and systems enhancement. You will be central in the development and execution of the PHN Regional Digital Health Strategy.

 

With significant experience in health care environments, you are a resilient people leader with an innovative style and are passionate about bringing out the best in teams. Being motivated by change and improving services, you are analytical and evidence based in your decision making to ensure quality outcomes are delivered. Your strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills enable you to proudly represent your organisation and develop and maintain strong partnership relationships.
