They are currently seeking an experienced and suitably qualified finance leader to undertake this important and challenging role.
About the role
Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Director Finance & Corporate Services is responsible for ensuring the effective strategic and operational management of Colac Area Health’s financial resources including financial planning, compliance (Financial Management Act), monitoring, and reporting. You will play a key role in working with the Executive team to ensure financial plans align with strategic goals. You will also be accountable for the delivery of quality services by Finance, Payroll, Health Information, Specialist Clinics, and outsourced business services (i.e. ICT services).
To meet the requirements of the role, you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications and hold CPA/CA membership. You will support this with extensive leadership and management experience including working with, advising and/or supporting Boards and Executive teams, in achieving sustainable financial management. You will have extensive technical expertise including taxation, compliance, asset management, insurance, reporting and legal issues. An understanding of the public health industry, public hospital management and comprehensive knowledge of program funding streams and services is desirable.
