Senior Consultant / Project Manager

GoodWolf is an advisory firm guiding organisations and foundations to invest in a stronger, fairer and more sustainable civil society.  Established in 2019, GoodWolf has been expanding through its work with Associates and Collaborators, and now entering the next exciting phase of growth and evolution.

Reporting to and working closely with GoodWolf’s Founder & Partner, the Senior Consultant / Project Manager will lead diverse projects with a mix of organisations including Philanthropic Foundations, NFPs, Govt-Linked Entities and Corporates. Bespoke projects that are typically 3 to 4 months in length, and examples include:

• Organisational Strategy (Universities, NFPs, Govt-Linked
• EntitiesFoundation Strategy & Grant Making (Private, Community and Corporate Foundations)
• ‘Journey to Impact’ for Foundation investments (AU and NZ)
• Theory of Change Development
• Impact & Evaluation Frameworks
• Board Effectiveness & Governance
• Board Charter & Policy Development
• New Charitable Structures (Corporate Foundations, Private Family Foundations)
• Strategic Partnership Frameworks
• Capital raising for new impact ventures
• Capacity building and team development

You will be a Trusted Advisor and integral project lead to professionally guide each engagement towards actionable and practical solutions, following GoodWolf’s key principles:

Resource. You will be a key resource in multiple projects, as well as drawing in and aligning key resources to achieve impact, both within GoodWolf’s client or external specialists as part of the project team.

Act. You will lead projects forward with clarity, clear objectives, insights, evidence and expertise. Strategy is part of it, but also capacity building and implementation.

A creative, curious and strategic mind, strong commercial acumen and financial literacy will be important, plus a hands-on, agile, and collaborative approach to work through the strategic, tactical, implementation, reporting and administration elements of each project. Your ability to research, decipher, analyse and present complex information, ideas will be important for success, along with excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills. Demonstrated and relevant experience in management consulting (5+ years), end-to-end project management and strong problem-solving skills is essential for success. Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, and/or social impact is required, and MBA is highly regarded.
