They are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced health professional for this exciting and challenging role.
About the role
The Director of Community Services has a key leadership role within East Grampians Health Service and is part of the Executive team. Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Community Services has oversight of Community Services, including Allied Health and Dental Services; Patricia Hinchey Centre; Community Nursing; and outreach primary care services. The position is also responsible for the implementation of strategic objectives and development of services to meet the community’s needs.
To meet the requirements of the role you will have significant management experience in a primary care service or setting, be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities and have significant experience and examples of leading high functioning teams. You will need to be able to demonstrate organisational planning, development and change management skills, have extensive understanding of relevant the accreditation standards, and an understanding of State and Federal community services funding and service delivery platforms.
