Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, the Brand Manager will lead the execution of brand strategy for the Marketing Centre of Excellence in NSW/ACT and VIC and contribute to the development of the National Brand Strategy as part of a cross state team. Leading a small team and managing relationships with freelancers and agencies, the Brand Manager will focus on brand strategy as well as all elements of creative asset development and execution. This is an exciting opportunity to support the ongoing development of the National Brand Strategy Project, including development of the Guide Dogs Style Guide.

You will provide people leadership to the design and production team and oversee the design of brand items such as brand materials, presentations and promotional material and the redevelopment of brochures, reprints and other collateral. The role requires a collaborative leader as you will work together with key stakeholders both internally within NSW and VIC and nationally to ensure brand integrity and consistency is achieved. You will manage brand and graphic design projects including the execution of marketing campaigns across print, broadcast and online platforms to ensure that Guide Dogs services meet customers’ expectations and builds the credibility of the Guide Dogs brands.

Strong stakeholder management will be required for engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders and collaborating across diverse organisational departments. You will have demonstrated experience in increasing brand awareness, ensuring brands support key business objectives, developing annual budgets and leading a high performing creative team. Your excellent planning and organisational skills will be important, along with your ability to prioritise workload and complete tasks within deadlines.

Creative and innovative thinking, along with strong communications and interpersonal skills are essential. You will have the ability to use initiative and work proactively in a fast-paced and outcome focussed environment. You are someone who demonstrates confidentiality and diversity awareness. Tertiary qualifications and / or experience in Graphic Visual Design, Marketing and Communications or Brand Management is required.
