About the role
Full Time, Fixed Term Role
- This is a cracking opportunity to demonstrate the merit of brilliant communications for social good!
- You are an exceptional communications practitioner, experienced in crafting authentic, engaging content and building advocacy
- Flexible working options and a competitive salary enhanced by salary packaging.
Kids First is a human services organisation, we exist for people and our people are our greatest strength. Most of our workforce directly benefits the community as social workers and therapists, or they educate young minds at their most critical stage of development. In short, they care.
As Communications Lead you won’t be in a client role, but you sure will care too. This will show in the way you passionately bring important issues to public attention, in the way you craft stories, build campaigns and finesse words so that you’re hitting just the right notes for audiences. All in service of the Kids First brand and increasing the reach and impact of the caring people you work alongside.
Clearly, you will have a way with words, and a qualification to match, and some professional experience in a role that has seen you drive communications and content aligned to business needs. (What that
business is? We’re not too fussed). You’re comfortable with writing copy and campaigns no matter the channel, internal comms, and spinning a few plates simultaneously because we’re a small team and
that’s how we roll.
And what we can offer you.
The chance to see your broad range of projects through from inception to delivery. Rolling your sleeves up to get into the detail and then stepping back again to paint the strategic picture.
Salary packaging, flexible working, professional development and an inclusive and outcomes-focused culture.
