About the role
If you’re experienced in privacy or health records management, degree qualified in Law, Health Information Management, Human Services or other related fields, enjoy working with and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels, then you might be exactly the person we’re looking for!
As part of our Quality and Risk team at Ringwood, EACH is looking for a full-time Privacy & Health Records Coordinator to support the organisational approach to management and its accountability in overseeing all activities relating to customer information. Your robust knowledge of information privacy and health records legislation, information sharing, and release control technologies and working within a multidisciplinary organisation will assist you to succeed in this role.
What you’ll be doing
This is a pivotal role that will see you help build public confidence in EACH through promoting strong governance and capability across the organisation regarding documentation, storage, and treatment of customer information. The role will involve responding to information requests from a variety of sources and building relationships with staff and assisting the implementation, training, and application of compliance with health records practices by working closely with the Information Technology teams that manage the systems.
You will be required to support staff in external accreditations, perform information privacy risk assessments and conduct related ongoing compliance monitoring activities in coordination with EACH’s standards.
