Focus areas include provision of policy advice; development of communications and marketing campaigns; development of the primary prevention workforce; production of research-based tools; leading a public conversation; and monitoring and evaluating prevention.

About the role

  • Primary prevention of violence against women and their children
  • Form a new cross functional directorate
  • Join a committed senior executive team

 

This senior executive role leads on projects and campaigns for new and emerging primary prevention practices and interventions. This is an exciting phase for the organisation and an opportunity for a self-driven leader to establish a directorate of cross-functional team capability to implement a significant portfolio of innovative projects.

 

Reporting to the CEO, the Director will recruit and build a team capable of delivering on evaluation, project management, innovative design and strategy, and stakeholder engagement. The role engages at board and subcommittee level and will champion the future orientation of the organisation.

 

As the organisation’s inaugural lead on innovation, the successful candidate will need proven results driven leadership gained in the corporate or not-for-profit sectors, including change management and project oversight. Values and organisational purpose alignment are expected as well as superior communication, persuasion, and influence skills.

 

Relevant tertiary qualifications and commitment to ongoing professional development are sought.
