About the role

About the role

Motivation Australia seeks a motivated, dynamic individual with good communication and interpersonal skills to expand our fundraising capacity. This role makes a big difference to the lives of people with disabilities in the Pacific by growing public revenue and attracting community support for Motivation Australia.

About you

You have experience in fundraising, social media and/or marketing in the not-for-profit sector. You have a solid understanding of individual giving, philanthropic giving and community fundraising. As a well-rounded fundraising professional, you have strong strategic skills and great customer service. You are comfortable in a small team and you know how to get stuff done without fuss. 

In this role, you will focus on

  • strengthening our membership and supporter base;
  • developing relationships with philanthropic and corporate donors;
  • planning and implementing fundraising events;
  • resourcing third-party fundraising events and
  • selling entry-level sports wheelchairs.
