About the role
Reporting directly to the CEO and working as part of a close-knit executive team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation. Share your passion for supporting individual growth and building strong families and communities.
You will provide strategic management and leadership for a range of community service programs across the Cities of Hume and Macedon Ranges and beyond. Services include family violence, elder abuse, integrated family services, housing support, drug and alcohol, generalist and financial counselling as well as youth mental health.
Embracing the Purpose and Values of Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health (SCCH), the General Manager will support, mentor and develop a highly committed and talented team of service unit managers to drive service excellence and innovation. The GM will also take the lead in driving strategic partnerships and service development.

You will have previous experience managing or leading community services, with a passion for providing quality service for the community. You will demonstrate first rate people management skills with an ability to lead your team of managers. You will have experience in program/service planning and will have a proven track record in driving service growth and continuous quality improvement. You will have high level analytical skills with an ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake and maintain a National Criminal History Check (NCHC), an NDIS Safety Screening check, and hold a current valid Working With Children Check.
