The Amy Gillett Foundation (AGF) is Australia’s leading bike rider safety organisation. It was established in 2006 with the sole purpose of promoting safe cycling and reducing the incidence of death and injury to Australian bike riders.

About the role

  • Develop and implement Marketing, Media & Comms strategy
  • Key Executive Team member

Reporting to a progressive and passionate CEO, alongside a fun and dynamic team, you will build  and maintain the profile of AGF as Australia’s leading cycling safety organisation, growing an engaged community through AGF social media platforms. You will work in partnership with the Head of Philanthropy, developing valuable, inclusive collaborations and relationships with wide ranging internal and external stakeholders.

This pivotal role is charged with ensuring consistency & integration of programs and messages across communications, marketing, media, government & stakeholder channels. You must demonstrate the ability to translate and communicate academic language and research; writing in a clear, effective and engaging manner for different audiences and channels.

This critical role demands a seasoned media professional with exceptional presentation skills, high-level  expertise in the identification of PR opportunities, plus a track record building and  navigating valuable media relationships and networks.

Videography, photography & photo editing skills are highly-desirable, along with experience in website maintenance, digital marketing platforms (i.e., Mail Chimp). Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of digital and social media channels, including analytics and developing engaging content, is a must.
