A little bit about the VincentCare Community Housing team

Our housing team is responsible for delivering tenancy and property management across a range of housing programs. We work to provide positive housing outcomes for those facing or at risk homelessness.

A little bit about the role

This is a newly designed position for VincentCare Community Housing and we are excited to announce we are seeking a talented Housing Admin Officer. This position will support the team by providing general admin duties in a timely and professional way as well as providing reporting and data collection functions for our funding bodies DFFH and Homes Victoria and Community Housing Regulator the Victorian Housing Registrar. 

This role will require a good understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act 1997, be able to communicate professionally in an open and inclusive manner while dealing with Renters, Providers of Rental Accommodation, Support Workers and other Stakeholders. .

 

A little bit about you

 

You are appropriately degree qualified and are currently working in a similar position in line with Commercial Real Estate, ensuring the rights and responsibilities of renters are upheld under the Residential Tenancies Act 1997. You are an engaging professional with experience in homelessness services and working with people presenting with multiple needs, including alcohol and other drugs, mental and/or physical illness, psychosocial behavioural issues. You are an engaging professional with extensive experience in dealing with ongoing rental agreements. Your experience and knowledge also extends to:

  • Certificate Qualification in Real Estate or Property Management
  • Previous or current experience working in a similar role or within Commercial Real Estate would be preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively build, engage and maintain professional working relationships with Stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to social justice which drives persistence and an unconditional positive regard.
  • Experienced data management and use of Tenancy and Property Database

Salary Range: $ – $ dependant on experience – SCHADS Level 3 up to PP
