Who we are
Social Ventures Australia (SVA) is a not-for-profit organisation that works with partners to alleviate disadvantage – towards an Australia where all people and communities thrive. We influence systems to deliver better social outcomes for people by learning about what works in communities, helping organisations be more effective, sharing our perspectives and advocating for change.

As part of the Marketing & Communications team you will provide advice and support to the Consulting team. The Marketing & Communications team works across SVA to drive brand marketing, client engagement, and marketing and communications for program delivery. The team engages with a broad audience to build awareness of SVA and support relationships with funders, venture partners, government, service delivery organisations, social enterprises, investors, policy makers and other stakeholders. At SVA, we use a mix of marketing and communications channels, including digital, events, media, PR, social media, and collateral – often working with partners to achieve our goals. 

The Consulting team works exclusively on for-purpose projects that strengthen the social sector and have a positive impact on people and communities. SVA pioneered social sector consulting in Australia and in the past 14 years, the team has worked with hundreds of clients to deliver high impact projects. The team provides innovative and effective solutions for our clients tailored to their unique needs and situations, enabling them to achieve their purpose as we apply a first principles approach.  
  
The position
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Production Coordinator to work closely with SVA’s consulting team.
For four days a week you will provide content and design support, with a focus on the production of reports and collateral for consulting clients, working alongside the Consulting Marketing Manager.
You will also provide marketing assistance to the wider marketing team for one day per week, working across all SVA stakeholders.
You will be collaborating with a highly committed and creative marketing and communications team, where your role is to support events and the production of content in various formats such as reports, webinars, websites, videos, and other collateral.

Who you are
If you are passionate about enhancing the communication of key information, strong messages, and important concepts, have a strong eye for detail, are ready to use your well-developed proofreading skills, and know your way around Adobe Creative Suite, this is the role for you.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a marketing, content production design or communications support role and have excellent organisational and administration skills to pick up several projects simultaneously. This unique role provides exposure to an interesting and rewarding work addressing disadvantage in Australia. You will join a highly committed team with a breadth of expertise in marketing and communications.
