About the role

We’re looking for a professional Data and Reporting Analyst with relevant experience who wants to join our 2,000+ team of staff and volunteers to make a difference on a permanent full-time basis, working 38 hours per week based in Fitzroy.

This role coordinates the delivery of WESSI programs’ data collection and reporting activities, including supporting efforts to monitor against agreed performance measurements and indicators. This position works across WESSI programs to ensure quality within program data is maintained to meet contractual and evidentiary requirements for both internal and external stakeholders. In addition, this position supports WESSI teams in the improvement and unification of their data systems, processes and supporting documentation across multiple programs, to ensure a robust practice/evidence base for advocacy, promotion and growth. The position sits on the WESSI Senior Managers team, and reports to Head of WESSI.

  • Maintain knowledge of the various contractual and funding requirements related to data and reporting for WESSI and its projects and lead the maintenance of reports, data integrity processes and data inconsistencies identification and rectification
  • Prepare accurate analysis of WESSI programs’ data and evidence in executive and board reports and any other reports as directed in a timely manner
  • Support the WESSI program teams to ensure timely and appropriate collection, management and utilisation of data and information 

Salary will be in the range of $85,264.31 to $89,124.91 per annum, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

  • To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we’re looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:
  • Demonstrated experience in leading coordination of complex projects and initiatives, particularly in data collection, data quality, and reporting
  • Knowledge of best practice in collection of community service program data and information management
  • Experienced in delivering performance monitoring activities and preparation of reports
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing data and reporting systems that meet stakeholder requirements
  • Direct hands-on experience with Client Management Systems (CMS) such as Penelope, Efforts to Outcomes, Procura
  • Proven written skills with capacity to prepare reports or other materials for a variety of audiences
  • Proven strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data/information, provide reports and make recommendations to support policy submissions and enquiries from government
  • Strong time management, organisational and problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills including the ability engage and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders including community and government
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high quality outcomes
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and effectively as part of a team
  • Highly proficient in the use of client record management databases and Microsoft programs
  • Understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of the Brotherhood

  • Specific work requirements include work-based travel, attendance at a variety of different work locations
  • Proof of eligibility to work in Australia is required
  • A satisfactory Police Check is required. The Brotherhood will facilitate this process
  • A Working with Children Check is required. The Brotherhood will facilitate this process
