About the role
We are seeking an HR administrator, working 25 hours per week, to join our medical research institute. Reporting to the HR Manager, this integral position be the first point of contact for all HR queries. The role will work closely with all internal stakeholders to ensure employees are onboarded efficiently and that our records are accurate at all times. The role will work closely with the Payroll Officer to ensure records are updated for the monthly payroll.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare employment contracts and supporting documents
- Responsible for HRIS management, input and data quality
- Work with the Payroll Officer to ensure all records are updated for the monthly pay run
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries
- Completing regular HR reports
- Assisting the team with HR projects
About You
To succeed in this role, you will ideally:
- have experience working in an HR administration role coordinating contracts, letters and HR queries
- have experience with and understanding of the Fair Work Act and Modern Awards
- have HRIS experience, preferably iChris (Frontier Software)
- have experience working with a payroll system
- have intermediate Excel skills
- display excellent organisation skills and high attention to detail
- thrive in a busy and autonomous environment
- think pragmatically and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- have a tertiary qualification in HR (desirable)
