The Role
Reporting to the Communications Manager, responsibilities will include:-
- Plan, create and deliver engaging and topical content for internal and external audiences
- Conduct public relations activities to build and enforce brand identity and awareness
- Deliver reporting on communications activities and results through media monitoring
- Source and create thought leadership pieces to support marketing and recruitment campaigns and activities
- Assist with the planning of strategic activities to identify opportunities and generate new ideas for various channels
- Brand collateral via brochures, website, newsletters and annual reports
Skills Required
You will hold tertiary qualifications in Communications or Marketing, along with previous work experience within communications related roles. With the ability to engage with different audiences, you will also have:-
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to source and create content via a range of mediums
- Knowledge of PR and media, plus an understanding of digital platforms and social media
- Familiar with both internal and external communications
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative approach
- A genuine desire to make a difference and alignment to SCC’s HEART values of Honesty, Empathy, Acceptance, Respect and Teamwork
- Previous experience from the aged care or non-profit sector will be highly regarded
