About the organisation
About the role
- Fund research, support families & save little lives
- Highly regarded national charity
- Lead national & local fundraising success
Red Nose is a national charity working to save little lives through research and education and to support families impacted by the death of a baby or child during pregnancy, infancy and early childhood. The organisation has bold goals to achieve a significant reduction in the number of families impacted by the loss of a baby or child. Red Nose receives government funding to cover a portion of their bereavement services, but it is never enough.
In Australia, nine children still die suddenly and unexpectedly every day. It’s not an easy ask – talking about dead babies is tough – but Red Nose experiences the generosity, commitment and genuine care from Australians through fundraising with donations directed towards Support, Research and Advice programs that make a significant impact for Australian families.
This pivotal leadership role will report to two visionary Co-CEO’s, be a key member of the Red Nose Leadership Team and have overarching responsibility for leading strategic development and delivery of a diverse and multifaceted fundraising strategy. Leading a small team, you will drive a national multi-tier fundraising approach encompassing individual & corporate giving, major donor, local & national events, bequests, trusts/foundations and shared value partnerships.
You will manage expansion across digital fundraising and generate sustainable income through target market inspiration, commercial partnerships, cause-related marketing campaigns and leveraging Red Nose’s brand assets. This role will be both strategic and operational to lead transformational projects including the development of a new major donor campaign, the implementation of a relational CRM database, and other initiatives that will maximise Red Nose’s fundraising income.
