The Director of Advancement of Lauriston will lead the total fundraising activities of one of Melbourne’s most highly regarded girls’ schools as it celebrates 120 years of looking forward.

This key appointment will build on long-standing benefaction for the School, including a recent successful capital campaign. It is a strategically focused role, requiring excellent relationships with the Principal and broader school community; taking engagement and philanthropy to new and significant levels.
As a member of the senior team, managing four reports, you will nurture relationships for enhanced community engagement with alumnae and parents and build a community of supporters who contribute their time, advocacy, and philanthropy. Importantly, you will plan, implement and manage the fundraising strategies of the School, and provide advice to the Foundation Board.
This important position demands a pro-active development professional with a record of fundraising success, who can think strategically, build relationships, and deliver results. You will be a skilled negotiator who can represent the School with diplomacy at all times, and be flexible and creative in reaching funding objectives.
