This role is responsible for delivering Uniting’s NDIS funded Pathways 2 Employment – School Leaver Employment Supports, through a range of training, work placement and life skill opportunities that will support participants to achieve their individual employment goals.

About you
You’re a motivated Employment Coach who has a genuine interest in and commitment to supporting young people with disability with their transition from school to employment.
You will have previous experience:
- Developing action plans
- Training, coaching and mentoring
- Delivering travel training on public transport and driver education to help participants get their learners permit
- Supporting participants with work placements and industry visits
- Skill development and confidence building
- Dealing with complex situations
- High degree of customer service working with participants and their families/carers
- Strong administrative skills
- Working in a target driven environment
Qualities that will help you succeed in the role are flexibility, resourcefulness,resilience and creativity; with a preference for working within a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Current valid driving license
- Intermediate computer skills
Desirable:
- Cert IV Training & Assessment &/or Career Development/ Disability / Community Services / Employment Services / Youth Work
