They are currently seeking an experienced and suitably qualified professional to undertake this important and challenging role.
About the role
Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Director People and Culture is responsible for building effective strategic and operational systems and process for workforce management and culture at Colac Area Health. The role also has responsibility for Food Services and Volunteer management. Key priorities will be
– Working with the Executive team and line managers to deliver on strategic goals and build the capabilities of the organization to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
– Building processes for workforce planning
-Staff attraction, development and retention
-Ensuring the culture supports the delivery of quality and safe customer care
To meet the requirements of the role, you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications preferably in a health service environment. You will support this with leadership and management experience including working with, advising and/or supporting Boards and Executive teams, in achieving effective workforce attraction, development and retention strategies. You will have a foundation of Human Resources expertise including recruitment, learning, industrial relations and employment law. An understanding of the public health industry, public hospital management and or building quality and safe customer care
