The Quit unit of the Cancer Prevention Division has been provided with funding to create a National Quit™ Resource and Training Centre for Nicotine Cessation (“Quit Centre”) to support the implementation of new smoking cessation clinical guidelines in the health system.

About your opportunity
We are seeking a Quit Centre Coordinator to join the Quit Centre. Reporting to the Health System Reform Manager position, your role is to:
- Provide highly effective project management and administrative support to ensure key deliverables are met
- Prepare draft activity reports
- Develop and maintain processes to support business activities, including document management and contract management
- Act as a central liaison point for external and internal stakeholders
All about you
We are looking for a collaborative team player with excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail:
- A qualification in project management and/or proven experience managing projects and administrative operations
- Strong ability to listen actively, influence and negotiate with stakeholders
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
