The Role
Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of Barnardos Australia’s direct marketing program relating to the renewal and retention of single giving and regular donors.
As the Senior Direct Marketing Coordinator, you will drive direct marketing appeals and retention campaigns utilising multiple channels such as direct mail, email marketing and digital and play a pivotal role in developing robust supporter journey’s to ensure individual giving income targets are met.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Delivering end-to-end direct marketing appeals including developing data strategy, briefing creative agency and internal project team, managing timeline and budget and stakeholder and supplier management
- Coordinating data segmentation, targeting and mapping donor journeys for both cash and regular givers
- Monitoring and evaluating campaign performance to ensure targets are met
- Liaising and building relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Skills Required
You have similar experience in either a Not for Profit organisation, direct or loyalty marketing and possess strong communication and analytical skills with an ability to meet targets and deadlines. Your experience includes:
- End to end campaign management experience from developing briefs to post campaign analysis
- An understanding of donor/customer retention and direct marketing campaigns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail
- Being confident in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to managing multiple projects, negotiate and problem solve
- Enhancement of donor retention and supporter journey mapping
- Creating and delivering clear campaign briefs
- Data-driven marketing, analysis and reporting
- CRM management, data targeting and segmentation
