About the organisation
Based in Wodonga, The Personnel Group is a not-for-profit organisation providing a range of Australian Government employment programs to vulnerable jobseekers.
The Personnel Group (TPG) has been delivering employment programs since 1986, one of the first providers in Australia. TPG understands the community engagement and collaboration that ensures vulnerable jobseekers find their way to employment, become less reliant on welfare and contribute to society. TPG understands that receiving wages has a strong multiplier effect on a household and community and enables the Government to redeploy fiscal resources.
About the role
As CEO of The Personnel Group (TPG), you will provide strong and clear leadership, modelling its values and being a champion of its Purpose. In collaboration with the Board of Directors, you will establish and deliver strategic plans and objectives which are in line with the organisation’s Purpose. You will lead the day-to-day operations of the organisation and provide senior management oversight to ensure efficient and effective functioning of the organisation. You will ensure the organisation’s contractual obligations are executed in a fiscally responsible manner. You will be accountable to the Board of Directors, providing accurate and timely reports and advising the Board of events that may have a material effect on the organisation.
The new Chief Executive Officer will be an inspirational leader who will motivate staff to deliver quality, cost effective services. You will continuously improve opportunities for the sharing of knowledge and provide an engaged organisational culture.
