Director of Development – Deakin University

Deakin’s strategic vision provides the perfect platform for a new age in Advancement work. Deakin now seeks a new Director of Development who, as part of Advancement Leadership, will strategically lead the University’s fundraising team, setting and delivering ambitious fundraising targets and goals as well as managing a portfolio of major and principal gift donors.

You will demonstrate experience in leading, managing and developing a high performing team, gained within a higher education organisation or similarly complex environment. This will be coupled with significant experience in major and principal gift fundraising. You will be committed to building and maintaining a sustainable long term strategic philanthropy program in support of Deakin’s optimistic vision for its future and its institutional priorities.
