About the role
- KEY MANAGEMENT ROLE
- Overall management of all bereavement counselling and support programs across Australia
Reporting to the CEO, the Manager – Bereavement Counselling and Support Service will be responsible for overall management of all bereavement counselling and support services. In this strategic leadership and business management appointment, you will provide strategic direction, operational management of service delivery staff, foster continuous quality improvement, and effectively manage resources and revenue.
For this important role you will need an appropriate qualification in Social Work, Counselling, or Psychology, with extensive experience and achievement at management level in a complex human service organisation (or equivalent), and proven organizational and administrative capabilities. Experience in working with bereavement support would be well regarded but is not essential. The role is full-time, but .8 EFT can be negotiated.
