Housing for the Aged Action Group is a member based, community organisation specialising in the housing needs of older people. The organisation was formed over 30 years ago and today has over 500 members that actively campaign for housing justice.
About the role
Join our small organisation and work with older people towards achieving housing justice in the Hume and Goulburn Valley region! Great conditions, supportive team, satisfying work contributing to changing the lives of older people in housing stress.
We are seeking applications for a Regional Project worker. You will have an understanding of the needs of older people, especially those with a lived experience of homelessness or housing stress, and work to establish Housing for the Aged Action Group’s (HAAG) Home at Last service model as a pilot project in the Hume and Goulburn Valley region. Philanthropically funded to the end of 2022, there is potential to shape the delivery of our service in the region and expand the project beyond the initial pilot. Critical to your success is an ability to effectively collaborate with sector stakeholders and engage with older people via community engagement activities.
