About the role
As part of our growing Regional Support Coordination Team at Narre Warren, EACH is looking for multiple Specialist Support Coordinators with leadership qualities and experience working in clinical, educational, or community-based disability, mental health, or early childhood intervention services or related fields to join them for 12 months. Experience in dual-disability and/or lived experience with a disability or experience caring for someone with a disability will be highly regarded.
If you’re an Allied Health Professional or Developmental Educator, qualified with a degree, experience working in NDIS and/or complex support teams, enjoy variety in your day, and working closely with other service delivery professionals, then read on!
What you’ll be doing
This role involves assisting customers with complex needs to build personal capacity in making decisions and choices about the implementation of all supports in their NDIS plan, including mainstream, informal, community and funded supports. The successful candidate will be working with potential customers and new customers to act as the key liaison point for all related services chosen by the individual.
In this role, you’ll be working alongside mainstream health services including Mental Health and Disability-related services and hospitals. You will interface with NDIS and mainstream services in a way that demonstrates competency and clarity around navigating all aspects of NDIS. You’ll look out for customers in their funded NDIS Plans, ensuring all services are rostered in a timely way.
Who you’ll be working with
You will be joining a supportive and fun team of Specialist Support Coordinators, Level 2 Support Coordinators and Psychosocial Recovery Coaches, who are supported by 2 Team Leaders. You’ll have ample opportunities to shape the teams’ growth with your experience and ideas.
Working with other professionals across our Narre Warren site within a variety of disciplines, our teams are dedicated to giving clients the best possible support.
