About the role

Your Community Health is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Allied Health Assistant to join the Physiotherapy team for this permanent, full-time position.

Reporting to the Physiotherapy Coordinator, the Allied Health Assistant position supports the provision of quality Physiotherapy services to clients of Your Community Health. The role involves follow up of Physiotherapy programs with individual clients in clinic and at home, administrative duties, planning and delivering exercise groups and assisting clients to transition into community-based exercise groups.

 

Your passion and commitment will see you:

  • Support clients to complete their Physiotherapy programs
  • Assist in planning, organising and implementing physiotherapy group programs
  • Monitor, maintain and order physiotherapy supplies
  • Undertake administrative duties that may include client phone calls and scheduling appointments, group waiting list management
  • Be a great team player

 

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Recognised Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
  • Experience working as an Allied Health Assistant in a community setting
  • Experience planning, organising and delivering exercise groups
  • Experience working with older people, people with disabilities and ethnically diverse populations
  • Excellent IT and communication skills
  • Current Victorian driver’s licence
