About the organisation
Life Education is the largest provider of drug and health education to children and young people. Operating since 1979, in excess of 4 million students have participated in its program over the past 40 years.
Life Education motivates, encourages and empowers children and young people to exercise real choice – and make informed healthy lifestyle decisions. It builds the capability of children and young people by challenging their values and attitudes, expanding their knowledge and developing their skills.
More specifically, its program assists children and young people to achieve the following outcomes –
- Acquire age-appropriate knowledge to support informed health choices
- Develop and practice skills and strategies to promote resilience and assist in decision-making
- Recognise the values and attitudes that may influence lifestyle choice and behaviour
About the role

We are looking to grow our team in 2022 and have a number of positions available across NSW including Western NSW, the North Coast, the Hunter and Sydney. Life Education NSW offers a flexible working environment, salary sacrificing arrangements together with the chance to contribute to our vision of seeing generations of healthy young Australians living to their full potential.
We are looking for talented, professional, confident and highly motivated applicants to join our team and deliver Life Education’s unique programs to primary school and pre-school students across NSW. Tertiary qualifications in early childhood, primary school or secondary school teaching, drug and health education or health promotion are preferred. However, we would love to hear from you if you have substantial experience working with children and young people. Applicants must have a current driver’s licence and a complete and current Working with Children Check.
6 weeks training will be conducted, which would commence in January, 2022. Travel will be required during the training period (COVID restrictions allowing).
