About the opportunity
We are seeking a Nominated Supervisor/Early Childhood Teacher who is passionate and motivated about making a positive difference in the lives of children and families accessing our small community based sessional Kindergarten.
The role is to oversee operations of the service to maintain compliance and quality. This includes leading, inspiring and motivating a small team of educators to provide high quality education and care programs to children in the 4 year old sessional kindergarten.
Strong leadership, knowledge of contemporary early childhood practice, provision of high quality programs, and continuous quality improvement are hallmarks of this position.
About you
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA)
- Experience in a leadership role in a Kindergarten program or early childhood setting.
- Extensive prior experience in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of high quality programs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and build a collaborative team environment and positive team culture
- A sound knowledge and understanding of early childhood learning and development.
