Committed to hiring staff who possess a genuine desire to make a difference to the lives of others, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Advisor to join our supportive and talented team. The People and Culture (P&C) team acts as a valued and trusted partner to all SVA’ers, supporting the delivery of the organisation’s vision by putting people at the centre of everything we do.

The position 
The People & Culture Advisor will provide high quality and timely advice and support to managers and staff on all aspects of the employee life cycle, ranging from people and culture operations, talent acquisition including onboarding and offboarding activities, supporting the interpretation and delivery of employment relations activities, information management and reporting, remuneration and benefits.

The position will play a key role in ensuring the effective use of P&C systems and process compliance across SVA. The position will see you work in close partnership with P&C and other SVA teams, while assisting with special projects to improve operational efficiency and contributing to the overall objectives of SVA.

You are a values and self-driven engaging HR professional with significant generalist HR operational experience, comfortable working in a complex and fast paced environment able to deal with ambiguity. Known for being responsive, approachable, empathetic, and service oriented, you will confidently build connections with our managers and staff and create strong working relationships that add value to the organisation.

You will come to the position demonstrating capability and exposure across the wide range of HR functions this role requires together with qualifications in HR or similar.  You will be skilled in providing guidance to our managers and staff and supporting the continuous improvement of People and Culture systems and processes.
